I made my mom almost cry because I told her that is nice to offer to pay for her boyfriend's dinner sometimes. After she said she was upset because he wasn't going to buy her dinner and a 30$ shirt... and that I'm an inconsiderate person for suggesting she should ever offer to pay in a relationship for anything...?
The thing is she thinks every time he sees her he should be paying for her dinner, buying her new clothes, and doing what ever she wants. She then told me I'd never understand, and that he's the kind of person if they went on a road trip he'd ask if she would pay for half. I'm like shouldn't you offer to pay for half anyways? She told me we have to different Ideals when it came to men. (You mean you're a spoiled bitch and I'd like offering to pay for things?)
Now she's crying in her room because I had the audacity to actually say something as horrible as, "Yes mom I do think you should offer to pay for dinner every once and a while."
My mom says it's beautiful for a male and female to have a full-on makeout session on TV< then wakeup next to eachother, but if a guy pecks a guy on the lips for a millisecond, she SCREAMS "EWWW!!!!!" and my brother is like "EW! WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

For reference it has included beating me with a glass cutting board and yelling at me for daring to block her swings, throw shit at me, chasing with a broom, chasing me with a knife, yelling all sorts of obscenities, and hate every girl I've ever even looked at. On top of that despite having gone to nursing school she is ignorant as hell. She thinks meat just magically turns into maggots, she's racist, and hates homosexuals. How she managed to have sex with my father to conceive children is beyond me and its definitely the only time she has aside from my sister's conception.

Lol my mom is the same way, she always screams eww at the tv whether it be two guys or girls. Oh and she always likes to bring up the fact that I also like girls in any conversation with anyone. I'm like mom, we get it, I like girls, but that has nothing to do with anything right now. Plus I'm not currently in a relationship with one, so why are we talking about this? Mom's are crazy.
