To make a "Suggestion" of making either A) Post count in JY count, or B ) Hiring more mods to cut down on all this spam, or C) Just temp bans for people doing too many spams... orrr D) Making Souleater and La Vie mods again...

If you think i should be a mod, tell Arti, because its not up to me, its up to him [ultimately]. but considering i did a great job the first time i was a mod, ie, total cleaning of the gaia section on a daily basis, and cleaning of the free account thread, i think i did a good job.

but it snot up to me, i would love to be a mod on LG again, but its up to Arti and Plobby and Shane.[/ultimately]

i dont really want publicity for a cause with so much merit. if Alex wants to make me a mod and have the gaia section the way it used to be, spotless, he will rehire me for any section since its not hard to moderate almost everything. its up to him if he wants a strict control in a chaotic area or wants to be a little more liberal with users. either way , i would love to be a mod, but its up to the boss, nothing more to it.

The amount of spam will be reduced/has been reduced drastically, posts irrelevant to the forums/thread have been marked as moderated, post whores have been given an infraction and topics that have been answered fully have been locked. It isn't as bad as you guys make it out to be.

Oh wow, am I blind or something? All the spam going around is just borderline spam meaning unless you want a million threads closed, it's a better option to ignore. There is no insane spamming going around at the moment. We can't just go closing every thread if they encourage short replies, we want to encourage an active and close knit community whilst removing the heavy spam here and there, not infract/ban every member that replies to a thread with under three words in the reply. People that have been doing this heavy like Izzy and Adam have been giving a verbal warning that it neither progresses a thread nor encourages discussion when they post the way they post. If they continue to do so, the verbal warning will become an infraction. They still don't listen? Infraction becomes a week ban, so on and so forth.

There is no need for every thread in GO forums to be mass locked like before, especially not while we're encouraging members to contribute and join again to become active.

Boobearsh says it's time to bring this thread back to life. xD
