Do you ever have a point to what you are saying? Saying "You try too hard" after saying "its better to try too hard than to not try at all" Is contradicting.

I have to put up with people of that sort enough IRL. And had to, as well, before I got a degree. I'd have been screwed otherwise if I'd tried to give those professors lip.
I've put the forum in archive mode - keeping basic chat here in case people drop by with a message. If anybody is still around happy to talk about building a small new little community, otherwise will just leave it archived.
