For some reason there's not a forum to ask questions and seek support, so I'm posting this here.

Are we allowed to post things like tutorials on getting programs for free that cost money? For instance, I know how to get photoshop CS4 for free on both Mac and Windows. Would I be allowed to post a tutorial in the programming tutorials sub forum or in the Junkyard? If not, am I allowed to post it anywhere else?

Sorry if I come off to be a newbie. I've been searching for the site rules and can't seem to find them anywhere

i would say yes. if its a tutorial of that sort it should go into the JY. which you'r enot far from, since it is breaking some rules with the software itself. so the UG would be the safest bet. im pretty sure that programming isnt the answer. stick to the UG when you get it. it is the treasure trove that we keep hidden.

Im not sure if theres a rule for warez on LG, but i think you should check the admins first?

its all UG material. it used to be special to be UG but now everyone that has 50 posts gets UG automatically, so it kinda defeats the purpose. but since the UG has some hacks and programs like that, its still UG material.
