First Chapter RELEASED!
Yay, Wagakou's first chapter has been officially released. Now I'm dying to see how it does and for the feedback. My editor is already telling me to get started on the next chapter (but she's STILL soooo cute when she's angry). Just got back home from classes an hour ago. I'd provide scans, but I really don't want to do something that could cause me trouble with Monthly Shounen. So if anyone wants to read it (or just stare at the images if you don't know Japanese), PLEASE try searching for scans in a few days online; I'm sure someone else will scan the magazine... but you didn't hear that from me.

EDIT: For those that don't know, Wagakou is my manga. I'm sure that it won't be my only one, but for now I'd like to enjoy working on it.

The magazine I'm serialized in isn't JUMP, but it's JUMP's main competitor (though JUMP, of course, has better sales), but there are literally tons and tons of different manga magazines. And thanks everyone. ^^

Well here's hoping a group will pick it up and translate it (I doubt it though since I'm an unrecognized mangaka), and I don't think an official English license will be happening anytime soon. Unlike Stan Lee and his official license release after one chapter of Ultimo... I still can't believe he started up manga after being on American comics for so long.

How'd you go about getting it published? Is this a big time or small magazine publisher?
Also, you should get scans and post them.

Like a lot of amateurs I entered a one shot competition, of course I didn't win, but I placed well enough to be considered for serialization. After that a lot of editors and the chief editor decide which of the mangaka that submitted their work should be serialized. The magazine is the second largest monthly selling manga magazine in Japan, so I'd like to think it's a big time magazine. But don't get me wrong, just because the magazine is popular doesn't mean my manga (or me for that matter) will instantly be recognized.

What's it about? :3

Daily school life, comedy, and most importantly, ecchi.
#13
I love school-life anime/manga! o:

And romance of course, I really couldn't see myself creating a school life manga without romance.

Tis' a perfect creation you have made. (:
Now, to find the scans.
Up, gave up, wayyy too lazy in my current condition.
But, if somehow I land some spare time, I will look for it.

I said a while back that I scrapped it.

You should post your main character drawings. :P
#19
I should do that.

But will you .

I will once I create a piece that I like. I have a color spread next month, so I'll post some of the concepts in a few weeks.
