Anime artists (SN ART D:) Help
Do you guys have any links to websites that show you how to draw the bodies and such. Like body models?

I have a hard time with those
I mean like cartoon sketches to start the body off

umm actually i always start free hand, then fix things xD
If youre JUST starting then my advice is to just like, reference your anatomy from shows.

I'm not barely starting xD
I've sketched freehand for about 4 years now
but I just can't like do it on the spot without a reference picture or something :/

lol, if u want i can give you the pdfs of the Loomis Books, theyre realistic but have REALLY good way of drawing things :D

The only way I can do it is by a step by step proccess... a stick figure, simple 3d shapes, then fill out more and add curves and stuff...

and when i say stick figure, I mean something like this:



that's the best way to start imo... don't spend ages on it though, it's really supposed to be quick and messy cuz it's never really there at the end. Use that to get a good idea of the pose and what not, then go from there.

If you want to try out that style, you should download or look up more examples from that mangaka. Obviously the image you showed was from Rave Master, so you could, for example, download or look up more of Hiro Mashima's work. You could also try reading Rave Master or download the volumes online and study his style.

Doesn't mean you can't be an anime artist. >W< Actually, manga refers to the books as a whole, not the drawings. The same thing can be said for anime being a term for the animation. Oh and look, Hibari.
