I upgraded my desktop from XP to Windows 7, since I had upgraded the RAM of it a year or two ago. It's definitely worth it.

Windows 7 seems handicap to me
But yeah Windows 7 is pretty easy top manage
And if your upgrading your computer (like i am)
Its a pretty damn good choice

A lot of my games/apps that worked fine in XP didn't work in 7. I switched back to XP.

I don't think my computer could run Vista so well. I'm talking about games like Half Life 1 and Deus Ex that I was trying to play.

On another note, are any of you noticing weird things with your post count? Mine's been all over the place.

You don't even have to backup, it moves all your old files to a folder called windows.old. It's an easy/user-friendly setup, I downloaded my Windows 7.

Yessir. It's a pain in the ass to delete, though. It's not as easy as selecting it and deleting it, you need to run a cleanup wizard or something. I don't remember exactly what I did.

-shrugs- I had a fresh install of WIndows XP on my desktop, so I didn't need to mess with that file at all. I have a few shit that I need to transfer though. Haha.

Well, the computer I'm using is an old one a friend gave me (not really old, maybe 5 years old. My previous one was about 15 years old), and it was FUCKING LOADED with crapware and miscellaneous shit. I upgraded to 7, that didn't work out, so I did a clean install of XP. In the end, it all worked out.

Ah, my computer was just an upgraded PC. About 6-8 years old or so.
