Question About a Virus
Ok just got this virus, don't really remember what I clicked on. All of a sudden things started popping up about running a scan using this anti-virus program that i've never seen before. i x'd out of that, i've seen those before so i didn't think it was a big deal, it kept popping up saying they're were like 5 critical errors w/ like a keylogger and stuff. then everything i tried to click on, like any programs or anything, said infected can't open. or something like that. i turned my comp off. I think i killed it. will i have to get a new computer?
or will i be able to reset it to factory settings and get rid of every file on it? would that git rid of the virus? is there anyway to backup a few files on it? but how would I do that cuz everything i click on says infected. I feel like an idiot. A useless idiot. XD
