Recording games with Commentary.
I really want to start doing this.
I just don't know how to set everything up.
I kind of want to do it like Seananners: YOLO: THE GAME (Suicide Survival) - YouTube

But then again I am not too particular on how to set all of that up.

Any suggestions/tips/help?

I would use one of the game streaming programs that stream straight to, say, TwitchTV. Twitch saves every stream you do, like YouTube, but without storing it on your hard drive and making you wait to upload a 10gb video. It even has an export to YouTube feature.

Besides that, you should record the video first, doing the commentary in your head (giving yourself extra time to speak slow). Afterward go back and edit your voice in, and crop out any extra footage you didn't need.

That's what I previously did for a commentary but the quality just pisses me off.
It shouldn't take 4 hours to get a video up on Youtube. I once had a quality where it only took me like half an hour to get a video rendered and uploaded.

You can do the commentary after, or do it during. In my experience, doing it during ends up with a lot more mistakes/ruined footage, but its more geniune. I use fraps and do commentary during. Fraps/Camtasia/Xsplit are my choice recording programs.

I hate how you skip scenes, but overall I like it.
