Hmmm.. maybe they replace the bunnies... and when the blood moon comes they turn evil like the bunnies did.

Now we have new minerals once you destroy a Demonic Altar! And the new mechanic stuff... EPIC! I have infinite lava and water creators with the pumps. They're really fast. Next thing I want to do is a water elevator with pumps.

I usually play single player. I could maybe help you out with that armor... I have a lot of molten crap laying around in chests.
I have never played on a server though... But I do have Hamachi for it.

If you get obsidian skull you can stand on it just fine! Vine hook also helps.
Actually, can't you just break those shadow orb things that are hidden deep in the corruption? And then when you break one, a meteorite should fall within a day or two (terraria time), and if it doesn't you have to break another one.
That's how I got my meteor.
Oh and also I didn't have an obsidian skull when I first started mining meteorite.

Seriously? I thought it just happened by chance while I was fighting the boss o.o Guess its because of how i summoned him.
Aha Yup. I'm pretty sure it works about 80% of the time. You just gotta go into one of those random holes in the corruption and find a shadow orb and blow your way to it with dynamite.. at least that's how I do it

Use a shadow pickaxe <3 15 shadow scales, and 20 demonite ore

I know I have a bunch of them for no reason. But I like doing it with dynamite.. Much funner ;D. And I just blew up a shadow orb to see if it still works and right after I broke the shadow orb it said a meteor has landed.. so yeah.. pretty effective , Also you get a random firearm with the shadow orb. You could get lucky and get a good one.. But I usually get the Annoying Musket. :/

i got about 50 of those stupid things =_____=
What are you using to kill Eater of Worlds? Can't really see the weapon.
And yeah, breaking black orbs will increase the chances of meteors falling. I usually get some spiky ball looking weapon from the orbs. I just sell them. Eater of Worlds is so good to farm money, just sell the demonite bars you get from him.

Its called Sunfury, its a ball and chain weapon with fire damage.
Basicly. you hold sunfury out, and just keep the mouse held down, and he will continue to dive through the sunfury, getting his ass handed to him.

Haven't seen that weapon yet. You guys set up a server? I'm going to be playing a lot this winter break (I hope!), and I'd like to play multiplayer.

I had one going for awhile, but due to lack of a terraria section I closed it down.
thinking of starting another though, I need a new map for 1.1
I would love to play multiplayer.. If that's alright with you guys. I could supply a lot of weapons and other things. I have pretty much all of the new and old items so yeah.
