Honestly, I think bungie is looking to please a more casual gamer base. I understand that there are more casual gamers than competitive gamers, but that doesn't mean that changes to the game should be at the competitive gamers expense. What I'm referring to is bloom. It's added more of a randomness factor to the game, so someone spamming their shots with the DMR or Needle Rifle can still sometimes beat someone timing their shots for more accuracy, simply because they get more shots off.
It's pissing me off too. It's about 1 second per DMR shot to have the next be as accurate as the first and to wait that long is too impractical. There are no ways around this easier so the only way to play skillfully is in Snipers where more than half of the people just camp somewhere with the top half of their helmet sticking out.
They need to separate playlists. You can play swat when you want to play big team or snipers if you want to play team slayer. I hate it because half the idiots only play it for the gametype and we end up with swat on Asylum, the gayest map ever, or snipers on Boneyard when we're the red team.
I personally didn't like this campaign but the online is awesome
Funny how we're discussing why multiplayer is bad, yet you come in here saying the campaign was bad, multiplayer is good, and don't back it up with a valid point?
