Downloading DS games?
How do you download them and then play them on your DS?
I have my DS but haven't played in ages.

First you'll need to buy a Flashcard. You can download every DS game from Romulation.net (Remove the link if necessary).

Like above you need a flashcart, the one I suggest is CycloDS, its about 49 Dollars but its well worth it, as the support is always updating their firmware, and the cart has two version DSi and DS, I have one and its great, the UI, the compatibility and the updates.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get an R4, I had one and bought one for about 49 dollars when I ts actually worth about 10 dolalrs, I suggest getting a Cyclo as you might never ever get a problem, unlike the damn R4.

Is it compatible with the newer games?

It should be, I see no reason why it would?

So aslong as someone's uploaded them, then you can put them on your flashcard?

Yes its a very simple process, and by the way, if the game doesn't work chances are a patch or AR Game code fix will be released in less then 24 hours.

I've tested numerous games including the Heart Gold and SOul Sivler Game which came out in Japan about september and I was able to download it and fully play it with no problems as the R4 would have given me several problems.

The current best flashcart for the DS is CycloDS, the one I've been using, it rarely needs updates like the other carts and works flawlessly with games.

well CycloDS is really good and if you want to test the roms before putting them on your ds yous Emulatorzone.com they have an emu for the ds and any of them work really well

...Is piss easy.
Just buy a Flashcard for about $20 on eBay, torrent a .nds game file, put it on the flash card.
As long as torrent sites are alive, you will always have the latest games.

If you don't want a flashcard, you can just use an emulator for free. no$gba can run DS games fine. You'd have to play the games on your computer instead of your DS, but it'd be free.

For that, you would need for example an R4, u can download the games onto it and play them, along with music and videos xD
#15
is there a way you can buy an r4 or cyclo thing without getting it from online?

Why the heck is this in a totally wrong thread?
