Help with xbox live

Ive been trying to connect to xbox live with my laptop for a while now.
Ive bridged the connections ect. But I cant get it to connect.
Was it an update that blocked this or something?

Are you talking about connecting your Xbox to Live through your laptop? Maybe one of the links here could help. (I don't have an Xbox)

You have to redo the IP address and make it match the Laptop.
So your xbox 360 IP address is the same IP address as your laptop. You get what I'm trying to say?
If you did that already then I'm not sure what is wrong.

No, its the other way around. You don't want them to have the same ip. So, you can do that manually yourself in the xbox network settings.
