o.O It's been possible. Tracking people through their cookies is old news. :P It's just new on gaia.

And the girl who posted it just sounds like an attention hungry whore who thinks something is happening because she heard it from her internet boyfriend when one of his friends popped in on them have cybersecks.

Yeah it's possible. You just look at the cookies stored in a firefox browser but honestly, I have no clue how it works. I just know they can hack an account through cookies but I suggest waiting for Arti or Chad.

I'm not sure how that would work. I haven't ever heard of such a thing before. If its possible then you would mostly likely have to be doing in manually, not with a program like a cracker, and it would be very hard and high risk I'd imagine.

you'd have to make a program. I made one with Python a couple years ago but it's way outdated. Gaia's been beefed so much it'd take a while to get one running. It is still possible though.

The only thing is, your session ID should be sent directly to the server, and from there shouldn't be redistributed to each individual client. She made it out to be easy, as if as soon as you go in you could get hacked. In reality though, once inside you more than likely have to do something specific to allow someone to hijack your session.

I guess it could be done. I think people were doing this a while ago, and that's why mods were advised to stay out of towns.

I've yet to see this but I bet it can be done. Only thing is the level of difficulty and time put into it. All of that would make you ask if it was worth the work lol

we if you could do it you could hack almost any active user
so of course its worth it

Thats how Mods get hacked?, and as i heard and the main gaia admin account got hacked ?

The girl that posted it up is probably Gaia's servant girl :P that gets paid in Gaia cash for posting stuff like that. (leaking information of some sorts)
