I was just wondering...
About Moderators, does anyone know how much are they paid? & I already know that they are paid in gaia gold or items.
And another question for ya: Have you ever wanted to be a mod yourself?

Mod's are volenteers, they're not payed as far as I know.
And yeah, I wanna be a mod. It's the only reason why I went legit.
Being legit is hard lurking around here though. Gah! XD

According to some, they aren't paid at all...

According to others they have unlimited Gold generators...

Have you ever wanted to be a mod yourself?

Not really, mainly because I knew it would never be.

Plus being a hacker is more fun / pays better.

They volunteer
But they dont get paid...
But i thin you have to apply at the buidling

Its cool but they aren't gold generators they are basically helping gaian staff to make gaia better. I didnt want to be one i wanted to hack one >:]

They only get paid if they work. For example If they handle a Hack Report. They would receive points. The more points they have they can trade it in for Dj headphones and etc.
[Forgot what its called]

And no I dont want to be a mod. But I gotta admit, the Mod forum was very interesting :]

Almost. They recieve gold and GC for everything that they handle. Hacking reports is a few hundred GC, or a few hundred thousand gold. retrieving items is a few million gold, etc. etc. so and so forth.

mods are picked as volunteers like most sites, and only admins recieve pay checks.

Damn, mods get paid alot... On gaia atleast.

Suppose one turned around and started "donating" to people in mass amounts, while really selling the gold somewhere like here? xD

it would never happen. gaia staff are kept way too happy to turn to the dark side and join us. they may be human, but they are loyal to their organization. it almost barters respect. its just too bad they are misguided by pixelated gold and dont ahve any sense of self-respect to not sell their soul to them, instead of joining LG.

It would be amazing, but that would just not happen. and if it did, it would be the world's biggest trap, and it would be an obvious trap to catch hackers.

I'm sure mods are rich enough via bribes.

I doubt mods take bribes.

They trade just like legit members.
I sold some item to a mod once.
She was on the forum.
She also even said that it was very hard to earn gold since shes always busy

not really. i see some of them buying and selling items on the exchange forum not as often but ocassionally.
I wanted to be a gaia mod when i joined Gaia till i met LG.
Gaia mods have power ,'specially the omni mods, thats why i liked them.
Till i got banned 4 times by 4 different mods then i despised them.
Now i come here to contribute in making Gaia hard to maintain for these mods
