I loved reading the first post, was a stroll down memory lane.
My definitions of hacking/scamming weren't accepted there, so they refused to unban my legit account that got caught up in drama.

Except your definition of hacking is wrong. We refer to it as gaia refers to it. As for scripting, it is just a term that has been applied and generally accepted. Happens all the time in the english language.
And as for the common sense - There are alot of smart people here. The dumb ones with no common sense are usually the ones who get banned.

Do you generally accept labels people slap on you? Say you dress in a fashion that can be considered scene. People call you scene but you don't consider yourself scene. Do you accept it then? If so, how about emo? Would you accept being labeled a cutter and an emo kid if you simply dressed similar to the scene trend?

Well obviously you wouldnt accept a label given to you that has a negative connotation to it. I see no negative connotation to "hacker"

So taking credit for talent you don't have isn't a problem? You hack into a website and you have the ability to change pages and shit, then you might be a hacker. Assuming you did it manually. You take WPE and make a filter that turns your name a different color or pass around some html page you copy pasted and you are not a hacker. End of story.
