Man, 8B 1000 used to be an awesome place to hang and kill time. The rise and fall of gaya.

The fall of Gaia has been looming ever since its creation. With the fall of forums comes the fall of avatar-based roleplaying forums too.

Around 90,000 users active to maybe even 100,000 at some point. Don't look at it in retrospect and you definitely can't say that its fall was imminent at that point.

It was a pretty promising, fun and rather "fresh" website. Alas, those days are long behind it. RIP indeed.

The forums used to be moving quite fast especially in the Exchange but lately, the silence is deafening. Although, I do enjoy the Site Feedback now.

I remember B8 being so crowded too. Can't even hear the crickets anymore.

I never actually got into towns, only when I get a personal invitation from one of my 'friends'.
I go in there never knowing what to do, just awkwardly look for "i am"s... because they're cute... but they run away from me.

I know Gaia used to be such a fun funny game with lots of people to hang with and i even made real life friends from that game some of them still play it not most tho.

Seriously. It's like where the fuck is everyone hanging out? Everywhere I go just seems so barren. Is everyone in Towns 2 or something? Or is it seriously THAT dead?
