My Fault for Being Hacked?

So apparently after being hacked and stripped of my 8mil's worth, Gaia just decides to tell me it was from my machine.
And I thought they couldn't go any lower.
Anyone have the same thing happen to them?

Man, I was just barely recovering from my unfair ban.
I doubt I'll ever recover.

This just pisses me off:
People get banned, hacked, etc. and instantly blame the site. It was probably YOUR fault that your account was compromised.

Somewhere you screwed up. Weak password, email, expired email, keylogger, etc. Somewhere it was on you.

Well I am surprised how vulnerable I really was.

No, I didnt. I rarely log on Gaia.
I only go on Gaia, and LG.
That's about it.

I got my other account banned, they said the exact same thing.

is it really that easy to get banned? i've only gotten banned once, and it didn't even matter because it was my mule. (i was stupid and traded everything from a hacked account in one go) it makes me paranoid that my main might get banned for no reason.

one thing to describe Gaia atm... Gong down hill.

I had 3 of my old mules banned because I didn't log into them for a few years and because I have a new Geo-location they that account was compromised... yea still not able to access the accounts

I wish I could say that's a new thing, really do. All you can do is make a new account, new email and build yourself again, or quit gaia. Ive had my fault I was hacked too it sucks, but if you haven't bought a shit ton of g-cash they couldn't care less.

That's the only thing I can think of, besides a keylogger, but I dunno. But of course you know who did it right? From checking your trade history, and gift history.

More like the kid is ratted, and they used his connection as a proxy to log in to his account, this way it looks like he traded his shit away, and not some hacker.

If he tells us some of the programs he used for Gaia recently we can probably get a general idea if this is the case.
