Pink Link?

Just found one. Description says it grants a random amount of gold. Lowest buy price on Marketplace is 7,000 gold. What are the odds that it will grant more than 7,000? Anyone know anything about it?

It grants either 5k or 10k

Usually grants 5k or 10k.

I also find it's a 50/50 chance.
It's always safer to sell, but I tend to just open mine.

I plan on auto-buying and auto-opening all of the ones in the Marketplace for 7500 or less. But it'll wait till I have an LGaia plugin for automatic buying.

OK i tested it out
and 1/3 boxes were 10,000
2/3 were 5,000
I lost 30k testing it out lol

Sample size? I don't feel like calculating it.

Nah, it's a randomly-given item, it's one of those floating giftbox-type items.

my main's been getting a lot of those lately. i usually get 10k

I once received 100k. It was around the time that the pink link was first introduced. I once made a tiny profit from pink links too...although I was buying them at 5k-6k, and getting mostly 10k's. Also...fish drops. Sometimes with like the goldfish drop, you can get items that are worth more...at least I did a few months ago anyway.

I've hit 50K from a link. In like the last 3 months or so.

The pink link I would say would probably be a waste of your gold I hit more 5k's more than anything else with them, however on a rare occasion I had hit 100k from one though it may sound completely retarded or there may have been something odd about it, but it's true. Not quite sure, you'd probably be better off making 10 mules, and using the old CE hack for the 100k daily per mule, and trading to 2 sub-mules so you don't exceed your 10 trade limit, and accidentally get your pass disabled. Meh, I don't know, you never know unless you do it. If you decide to I say best of luck. B<

Sure. If I can figure out the statistics for what the reward odds are, I can figure out the average price to buy at from the Marketplace to turn a profit.
