Hoarding

So, I don't play Gaia enough to Vend or Exchange anymore, but I'm still a greedy bastard so I want more Gaia gold.

I'm thinking of starting hoarding, anyone have experience with it?

Also, on another topic: Bought an OMFG because I got bored one day and had always wanted one, cost me 220,000g. The price just spiked back up to over 400,000g, should I sell? I'm not sure if the price will rise more.

OMFG was hell, I remember having 20 OMFG spiked for 600k went down for 300k, really fast, I only sold 12 which was kinda good...

Hoarding only really works in popular rigs/letters and you have to be really careful, but if your patient hoarding can turn huge profits (back when dealers where 10K/each I'd always buy like 20 letters and keep them. Probably wont make as much these days )

My biggest score was the letters with katana. I hoarded like 50 of them when they were cheap and bam overnight they went to like 120k/each

I just plan on doing quantity hoarding. Like say instead of buying a RIG and hoping it rises 200k, I would buy 600 of some item worth 10k and when it goes to 11k sell them, and make 600k off of it. That's what I mean by hoarding.

Good luck with that. That's not hoarding really since the odds of you being able to sell all 600 of them is very slim if its not a very popular item. Plus you would end up flooding the market with your 600 items worth 11K making anyone else who has it wanting to sell to back to 10K thus making your item overpriced and not profitable.

I once horded bunny and chicky scarfs. Sadly that account got banned a looong time ago. I bought them at around 1k-4k a piece. I had over 500 of each I believe.

Someone bought all the omfg's some days ago and listed it at 2m or something :p

Anyways, you would get easy profit by buying older popular monthly letters that deflated
( Sakura Blossom , light spirit)
Those easy sells are the usual cute shit. Usually pink. ehh Jenny Doll and crap

Right now I'm hoarding Catastrophe because I'm bored, and needed something cheap. Have like 200k worth of them. Just waiting for them to go up like 3k, then I'll sell.

Then check on the market constantly I guess?
It depends sometimes on how often Catastrophe is bought.
Then again, its just me but I find it risky ;u;.. the item I mean
Always check graphs o3o invest on items that sell like hotcakes *u*
Though im not sure which items those are ( on the 20k+ range )
Oh and if you want to increase gold while waiting
try going to towns
and picking up old crumpled newspapers
they're like 800g each, 10-15min = 20+ pieces
But they only come out at a specific time.

Eh, I don't mind slow-selling items. Most "Catastrophe"s are sitting in old accounts or banned accounts, so there are like none on the market, so I can probably raise the price. I'm not torried about 200k, the worst that will happen is no profit haha. Also, thanks for the Towns advice. I used to do that, but forgot about it, I think I might start doing it again! I would love to have a few mil again, right now I'm sitting at like 300k e_e
