Yep. Both my gaia accounts BANNED. Wondering what I can do. If I knew how to hack I would. Not that anyone would care to teach newbie? c;
#2
There isn't anything to be done. Account can't be unbanned or really accessed once banned.
#3
>apply for gaia job
>get a high up job
>unban your accounts
>quit gaia job/get fired for unbanning
>????
>profit

xD I put in a ticket to be unbanned. To be honest I only did ONE trade between my mule and my main account. SO ya... I might find someone to teach me how to get into accounts like that X ^ *

FLP/FMP is scamming/phising

Ummm, go through the Gaia Admin Panel re-edit everything and unban your account. That would be alot of money.

Keyloggers and RATs also aren't hacking. If anything, they're phishing 2.0.

I was able to successfully do it in one day of learning, all im saying. Hacking, in what i would loosely consider it, is gaining access without the need for social engineering.

I think i answered that already, you can't. Honestly I don't even know what you could have gotten banned for unless you bought hacked gold.

I didn't. I used my mule to do so. The only items I traded to my main was when I traded some noobish things and junk from my main account to the mule. So, I was NOT a complete idiot when doing it.

The only account I ever got unbanned was in Runescape and that's because I waited 7 years after my initial appeal and then said "I know bans are permenant, but come on, 7 years... I really miss being a PAYING MEMBER" and they unbanned me.

Then I sold the account for 80 dollars.

In theory there is almost certainly some hole in Gaia's security that a hacker could exploit to get into the admin panel and unban your account. But it's not like everyone running around calling themselves a hacker can go into the admin panel and unban you whenever they can be bothered to. It's probably happened a few times but your more likely to get it back with an appeal.

But that's not saying much because Gaia barely EVER accepts appeals. I remember back in the day, someone was running a popular quest thread and getting a lot of big donations, and a whole bunch of people got banned because Gaia is pretty much retarded and thought she was buying gold from them. Although a 5 minute investigation by an admin would have been enough to show that the trades were legitimate donations, it took a giant petition with like 10,000 posts before they even considered looking into it. I don't know if they even real your appeal. You always just get a generic response that restates the reason for your ban and doesn't address any of your questions or evidence.

Ah same thing happened to me, I traded noob stuff from a mule and later on I ended up using the mule as a scam account.

I am all like. WTF gaia? You really...don't have much proof against my main account. Only one trade with no tickets or anything!

Yeah he had Sythe, Bunny Ears, a few Halloween masks, and was around level 115. This was also in like 2010 before the Chinese destroyed the value of everything. Well, before they totally destroyed it.

Well I like Gaia I do. I just wish there were easier ways to not get caught by it. I mean I want to learn how to FLP and things like that. It's something I think is cool. I don't know much about computers so a new experience would it be. xD

Yeah I remember my first time with an FLP a guy gave me one and said we would split it 50%-50% we ended up not splitting it because I just took it all.

Well if you're serious about learning to write bots, I think a good starting point would be learning Javascript and writing some Greasemonkey bots, for example a dumpster dive bot.

I've heard this is the best Javascript tutorial: JavaScript Tutorial

Greasemonkey lets you append your Javascript code to pages on Gaia, or any website for that matter. For a Dumpsterdive bot basically all you would need is timed refresh and form-submitting. I can imagine doing it in like fewer than 10 lines of code.

If it's that hard just ask flareboy to make you one

Anything with some code in it looks pretty hard to the unitiated. FLPs hardly take any work on your part, you just need to know how to get some free webhosting and upload files to it. People around here seem pretty helpful in that respect if you don't know how (tbh I think I would go nuts if I tried helping in some of the threads I've seen for help with FLPs).

Most people who want to do these sorts of things assume that it's as simple as learning a magic word and then ta-da you're a "1337 h4x0r". It takes a little bit of initiative. If you need help ask for it but please don't ask people to do it for you. What do you find hard about it?

It's the coding. I never went into the coding before. I have only recently worked with a bot that wasn't even mine. And even then I did not understand how it worked. The coding is what confuses me I suppose. and what to type in it and such. .w.

The code might look scary but you basically don't need to touch it. You should probably change accounts.txt to something else but you don't have to. But you should.

Oh well making your own is a different matter. That requires a lot more know-how. But if you go in the public programs section I believe there are a few public FLPs you can use. Then you need to find a webhosting companying that allows PHP scripts. I don't know of any off the top of my head but I'm sure other people do. Freehostia might allow PHP I forget. Then you upload the scripts and spread the link around and profit.
