Yeah you don't make a lot of gold after 20 votes you get noting.

It's good when included on a posting bot. So when you have to cool off from posting you can vote.

Ask Stapled about his autoposter. It posts in forums, votes in the arenas, does dumpster dive, daily chance, and other stuff. It's a great bot, though some of it's functions don't work anymore. Leave it running for a day with default wait times and stuff and you can make like 10k + 200 posts doing nothing at all, lol. I like the bot, helps you get random extra gold each day, and a higher post count.
