[Request] AutoPMer

Hi there! I don't really know how to start, so I'm just going to be as succinct as I can. I'm looking for an AutoPMer, one that would allow me to send private messages on Gaia automatically, without me having trry about wasting loads of time and clicks sending each message myself. It would be pretty basic, just a textbox in which to insert names, and another one in which to insert the text which I want sent. I don't really know the technical stuff, but I am willing to pay 15k LG. Thank you!

Well thank you for the tip, though does Sk8er accept LG? And I doubt he would make one for free for somebody who isn't even in Bronze

I hope this helps the members of LG. I know they have been requesting this for a while now.

I can try, after I program and finish a couple of things...

The only useful thing I ever gained from GG was a good friend named Bug. He made one and it was on a webpage. It had the first 2 boxes [your gaia username and password] then underneath it there was a big box where you put in the usernames of people that you wanted to send a message to. [you had to do it by clicking 'enter' after every name and typing the next one below the one before it] And then you typed in what you wanted the PM to say in a box below the list of names, and you just clicked the "send" button. It would send that one message to all of the people on that list. When it was finished it would go

"bing!" done. and there was a log on the side telling you who the messages were sent to and whether or not they were successful or not.




REALLY EASY WAY!
Just go on gaia and write a new PM. In the top textbox where the usernames of the recipients go, just put in the usernames of each user you want to send a PM to (separate them with commas). Dont worry about forgetting the usernames. Just open a new tab and browse em. Type em in as you see em'.

You wont be able to send all of them a message at once. It can only send up to 1 message to 8 different people at once then they also have to be added to your contact list.

Anybody working on this, post updates. If you wouldn't mind, some kind of open-source thing would be nice, as that would make development go faster

I already had a sent account list. I probably won't have the "bing" atleast not in v1, I am trying to make it simple so that I can release it faster.

Now I will get down to coding (Had to go and take care of something most of the day).

I like it better. I think building forms is way too much fun and easy in vb.

Plus I like coding in vb rather than C++.

Me and chad and some other programmers of the forum can help you if you use vb, some people like chad know lots of languages, but I think he uses vb for a lot of the programmers here.

Ye, Virtue is right, As soon as it hits bronze it will be leached then patched.

So should we only give it to those who have already requested it?

Thats what I was thinking. I was also thinking about releasing like maybe a single version in bronze or something.

Put one in bronze and make the timer pm every 2 minutes, and in silver put Post every 60 mins (Pro version)

And PM me the Silver version <.<

@Eternal: If it's using the same lines of code I wouldn't suggest releasing it to the public/bronze, Gaia isn't stupid. They'll figure it out at some point.

Just keep the good one for Silver.
