Best way to secure one large item?

There really isn't a good way, if a report is made you're going to get caught. I'd sell it for smaller items and hold a fake giveaway thread, and use proxies.

Depends on the item, how inactive the account is and really though it would be better to sell it for smaller stuff like Skid said. I recommend securing the account and letting it sit for a while before doing anything

so how small should each item be and what should i do once i get small items with the pure

I recommended selling the items first than transfer them.
there are simple techniques of sending gold to another account, if thats what you want to do.
use account 'B' (that you want the gold on) and create a market listing with a crappy newb item for 10mil (I never go over 10mil, its a superstition really)
than use account 'A' with all the gold to buy that item.
