Which is safer?
Which do you guys think is safer to prevent ban of your hacked accounts?
1. Changing username, pass, and e-mail and staying online posting etc, for about a week.
OR
2. Or just changing username, pass, and e-mail and leaving the account alone w/o signing in for about a week?
OR do you guys have any better ideas?
I'm gonna have to go with #2
Just seems safer to me.
Well yea I was thinking the same thing, though being very inactive could do the same don't you guys think?
As long as they don't know the person in real life, it doesn't matter.
2nd it worked for me with account i got a week ago .
2nd... Maybe add something like going out of town to the status or something as well...
Bad thing about adding to the status is that the friends in Rl will notice that too...
Delete the friends, don't block profile though. Keep the avatar the same, (ghost it)
then stay active in the forums, and if you can, try to message the users friends too.
Then, after like a few days, go randomly innactive and switch the items to a mule.
Then change the username.
keep? why keep it? keeping a hacked account can only mean trouble, clean the gold and transfer it right away to a mule account and ban the hacked account. then transfer the gold again and get rid of the first mule. i love how people whine about getting banned while just asking for it.
