Woohoo i used a cookie editor to get into a noob account!

But i did not know username and password...


1 is there any way to get into a specific account using cookie grabbing?

And 2
Can i find a password in a cookie?

How exactly did you "Get in" to the account in the first place? This may be possible.

1.) yes there is but it can be such a pain to get that person to go to the your cookie grabber to get the cookie

2.) I don't know this for sure but as far as i know the cookie is just some random encryptions so I don't think it's possible.

Yea, session hijacking as it's called is just switching out your cookies with someone elses. While you are in the account you cant really do anything but, play games, message others, vote, comment, anything a normal gaia user can do you just cant change the account information if it requires a password for you do not know it.

It's easy. You set up a cookie grabber.php file. Have someone go to and it grabs all there cookies ands stores them in a file. You get the cookie you want, in this case gaia55, and then login with tamper data on and click tamper and switch out your cookie with it.

Can't you just use image tags with the php file to get the cookies from anyone who views the page?

If all you need to do is have a Omni-mod to visit the page im sure you could use a mule-ish account and pm them asking if [your url here] is real or not ?

To get into a control panel for admin or moderators you need there other passwords. Yes, admins and mods have more then one password to get into the control panels. Anyway, this method has been tested before, Arti had made a gaia online "Virus" that did this but it got patched. Meaning you wont get far with it. Yes, it's a good way to get someone you don't like banned. It really is.
