Definitely subs for anime. Helps me pick up tidbits of Japanese which is cool, and normally the Japanese voice actors are better and less annoying than the English ones.

That is also my reason for picking Subs over Dubs.
I just don't like Dubs very much.
I watch shows like Naruto and Bleach in Subs instead of Dubs because it's just that much better and more realistic.
I started watching with dubs because I started watching via Toonami and SciFi so as a habit I watched everything with dubs for years. I started going to an anime club last year and they watch everything with subs so I've started doing that as well. Good subs give you a lot more flavor of the original script. If you just have ok subs you may as well watch a dub.
Really there is a lot of stuff in anime that unless you are familiar with Japanese history and culture will go over your head and you'll never even know it. Some of it is actually important to the plot or characters as motivators and personality.
Subs in almost all cases unless it's an anime I originally grew up watching with dubs.
With a few exceptions... Or if my drawing and can't watch the subs and draw at the same time.
