Hey guys today was a very boring day so I decided I should try and redo the design of our site into something fancier than the usual skin. It took me about to hours to finish it, but it is still incomplete. I should try and improve it based on your advices and also if the admins wish it I could design the other elemnts such as buttons, profile base, post base etc. I shall not code this. I have very little time which I use it for projects based on real clients nor I have the experience necessary coding a vBulletin Skin. If someone else is willing to I'll gladly provide the .PSD file and offer help. The single thing I dont like at it is the logo. I couldn't come with something better at the moment so please suggest. Don't be shy, I like critique.
I tried something clean. Nothing fancy. Like Deviantart color schemes. But if you guys dont like the color either and somebody wishes to code it I'll change them.

I designed an almost exact copy (Except I hadn't finished it, and different colors).
I suggest a color change. Maybe Blue?
At least to match the old LG, we have all come to know and love.
the coloring looks extremely weird and too bubbly. It looks like a little like a freewebsites forum design, or a BBulliten forum design. its alright, but it looks a little off, but its good over all.

You have to bare in mind that this is all done in Photoshop and fonts and things aren't the same, It would look a lot more like a V bulletin skin once it has been skinned, personally I like the colour scheme however I think that LG deserves a blue finish just because it is how LG rolls.
I'd be happy to code this for you if this gets used and any other feed back I will tell you on msn.

i did forget about that, but when it comes down to it, there are fonts that are similar to the fonts that can be used for the sections and stuff on a vBulliten forum. But i guess i understand what you mean. and i would have to agree that a blue would look better than green, maybe not with white like the other skin was, maybe something a little darker.
First impressions. Ok guys since everybody here goes for blue I can turn it blue, no problem. So everybody knows this is only a photoshop file, as I said I wont code it as I have no time and would take me some if I decide to as I never coded a vBulletin Theme. One of you said that I messed the descriptions. No I didnt, I was just copy-paste-ing over and over again. It has no importance as my text will be removed if this will be coded. Logic huh ? Some say that the design is to simple. Well I could have came up with something fancy but than I'm sure that most of you would have said that is too fancy and you want something simple. If any of the admins wish to have a colab and do something nice I would be glad to help. You know all I did was based on my ideas during 2 hours. I wont complain since it's not that much time. But building a theme needs patience and detailed work. As I said this is not finished yet but I wont continue till you guys tell me it deserves. I'd really want to talk with Plobby and maybe throw in some help if he wants. That would be all I wanted to say and if Jamie wants to code it I will do the necessary changements. Thanks again for the support well I guess I'll wait a bit more before I do any changes because as I heard Plobby has other template and will change when he'll come back. I just don't want to waste time .

It's just what we've always been on.
I do agree that that design is much better, but i really like blue.
When I first signed up to LG it was orange so can't really agree, however I can agree that blue would look nicer than green though having said that LG has been green in the past as well.
I've put the forum in archive mode - keeping basic chat here in case people drop by with a message. If anybody is still around happy to talk about building a small new little community, otherwise will just leave it archived.
