Art Project

Ok, so for my final in 2D. We were to make a book. Points to creativity in both the art and book design. An we were grades against each other, so if you sucked at drawing or someone in the class drew better than you you were graded against it and could fail just because someone had better illustration.
So to avoid the issue I went digital. For my book design I made a vintage double record album. So if you don't know what that looks like:[img][img]http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb147/Visual-Vinyl/rock6/IMG00088-20090825-1016.jpg[/img][/img]
There is a cover, it opens with art, then in each side a record slides out, usually there are paper sleeves the records are in as well. It adds up to about 12 surfaces for art.

Since I went with the record motif. I decided to do old bands I'm into any way. In a week I made like 30 covers and only got to use 12. Only 13 were any good.

Their alright, I would try not to stretch the px v (Down) but hold [shift] when resizing.

and crop the pictures better (So they aren't over the curtain and stuff).

I wanted them over the curtains?
Like I said, they look way better on paper than on the screen.
I printed them like 1/3 their size on the screen.

Pretty nice, 100 times better than what I can do xD.

I needed one because jerk teacher after he told my my other project was good gave me a D on it so I need to pull my grade up.

Van Halen and Queen are awesome, most of them are fine, but I don't really like the Black Sabbath one...

Black Sabbath was tough...they don't have any real art to them and they've changed members so much I didn't know what to do.
I actually think Queen is the worst one.
Van Halen turned out ok.

Your style is interesting. I like it.
It's like a mix of there face with I forgot what the styles called where you change colors. yeah.

A word about the way the Beatles looks: You see they have three anthology albums that look like cut up photos just thrown on top of one another. So that's why I did it that way.
Also I'm in one of the pictures, in case no one noticed.:p
