Best CD of the year for you?

What do you think? Granted year isn't over and you're allowed to speculate forth coming things are to be the best.
Ozzy released Scream, Slash dropped Slash, Motorhead is releasing something in Dec, Zak dropped Black Label, Satch released Wormhole Wizards, ect.

I personally and torn between Slash and Satch. I was stoked for Scream which was a let down and I'm not big on Zak without Ozzy.

My nominees:
Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma
Massive Attack - Heligoland
Rabbithole Revelations - EP
Slash - Slash

Reasoning:

Cosmogramma: Electronic, very close to Acid Jazz. Nice sounds, very creepy sound, perfect to listen to at night while reading.

Heligoland: It's Massive Attack, therefore it's trippy. Pray For Rain and Atlas Air are two very honorable songs from this release.

Rabbithole Revelations: Soothing, almost ambient, yet very up-beat. Nice use of classic radio samples.

Slash: It was a very heavily guitar influenced CD, loved what he got out of Fergie, and Ghosts was awesome.


Call me a faggot, but I'm kinda excited for the new Owl City due out in December.

and Blink might come out with a new album this year too :]

I seriously thought they died.

Either way, they tend to sound too similar to every other band in that genre for me to get excited about them.

i cant wait to see how Escape the Fate is doing, they made a single and it sounded pretty beast, new album coming out Nov 12.
and probably best albums THIS year, would beeee Nightmare - A7X album and the Black Veil Brides Album i forgot the name

Forgot to mention Iron Maiden's new album was pretty nice.

As was Chemical Brothers.

cant think of one for this year yet so im going to do the best album of last year.
I Think Dream Theater's album "Black clouds and silver linings" was by far the best of any progressive rock/metal album of last year.

I'd have to say Daughters' self-titled. However, Serj Tankian's latest CD is pretty good, too.

Best album they've ever made since all the music is different in this album, and past albums almost every song was the fucking same.
