Currently the underground section of LG comes in three parts. Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The idea has been proposed to unite all three into one singular underground.
This is an extreme change to the format of LG. So I'm putting it to a vote to let y'all decide. Before you vote I urge you to think this over critically.
Oh god. Half of the threads are deleted (Even old ones that contained interesting, though outdated, learning material.) and nothing is organized. A few threads have been brought down from UGG, but only like 2 it seems. I also feel as if I've been deranked, because now it feels like we're all just in UGB. Is there any chance you could open up applying for UGG now? And anyway, now that they're all combined, I don't have anywhere to post my findings and notes about making a Gaia Towns private server because I feel it would be too easy for Gaia Staff to get into the now-combined underground. I could post it in UGG if I was allowed in, or just write it out and give it to someone to post there.

Gaia staff aren't going to bother themselves with getting in to Underground :p They'd sooner just fire up their lawyers.

Well still, is there any chance I could get into gold, or at least the programmers forum? I feel I have a fair amount of stuff I could contribute about their flash games and general filesystems and stuff. Unfortunately, my hard drive was just wiped clean (my encryption was corrupted and I had never bothered burning my rescue disk) but I remember most of it.

Yeah, boot sector got corrupted and it fucked up the entire thing and made it say "No bootable partition found!"
And hey, I may not do a ton of programming but I'm trying to do more. I do a little C++ right now and I'm planning on learning Python and VB.NET. I also technically know AutoIt, though I would call it more of a scripting language than a programming language. I've played around and mapped every function of Gaia's GSI, but I haven't really played around with JSON yet. Also, I'm currently making a Private Server version of towns, so people can run their own servers. I've gotten everything locally referenced, but I need a copy of the SUSHI Multi-User server to continue on with the project. I've already contacted the developer and he said that he's no longer selling or giving the program to the public, so the only way I can think of for getting my hands on it is posing as someone who wants to develop a flash game for Gaia and asking for a copy of it so I could "make sure that my game works well with it so far, so it can easily be implemented in the multiplayer servers that Gaia currently uses".
Does that get me a pass in, or do I still need to learn more? Because Jah got in when all he could make was a refresher :/

Jah doesn't presently hold a programming rank. The whole point about clearing it out was to restructure the rank. As it stands, we're not accepting new users until we iron out exactly what we want to do.

Well even without rank, could I be given access to the programming board? I have an extremely large need for the content currently on it, at least to my knowledge.
