Larger Avatars

Normally avatar size doesn't bug me but... well There are alot of aspiring graphic designers out there and the avatars are important. With the size they are now, about the only readable word you could fit on them would be "Hi"

and then that'd take up at least half the dang thing...

What's the size?

I do agree, I think it should be a bit bigger.

I totally support this! I know that bigger avatars will slow down the forum a bitand also eat up more bandwidth but the 80x80 is way to small. I think 100x100 is a decent size.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 50 by 50 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

So you can have a high detail 50 by 50 or a shitty larger picture apparantly...

Mine is 80x80, and the quality is fine for me. I believe the old forum avatar size was 100x100.

I like buttons, so i always make my avatar really small.

I think it automatically adjusted my picture for me.

80x80 would be nice.
It wouldn't even let me upload because my AVI was too big, it didn't even resize it.

Yeah the first one i tried to upload was errored or something.

I think 150x150 is standard avatar size nowadays, with 100x100 being minimum. I think anyone would be happy with 150x150.

I'd be really happy if we got 150x150, but then again, this is a minor thing.
The major problems still need to be fixed.

I wouldn't mind a 100 x 100 one.
