Actually, this would be pretty cool.
Although, it might not be very active, and I feel me and Raivu would be the only ones discussing anything but the new Bieber hit.

i would actively discuss bands, maybe not instrument playing since i dont play anything. but i can promise it would not be bieber/hannah montanah/jonas brothers, or anything of the sory

Music is not LG's priority, at all. We've had this in the past, and next to zero posts. Invite people to LG, then we might think about it.

Lg is for gamers and hackers, its not for music.

Visual section is just a exception.

c0ffin would get into it too since he's much more of a musician than both of us combined lol. But I don't see him around a lot lately.
But I don't think we have enough people posting about music to keep it alive.

Well before you said Visualization is an exception, why not music. Just because its not drawing or making graphics it still in the same category of creativity, your just not your just not using a pencil and paper. or photoshop.

yeah. really, cuuuz i feel the need to express my musical abilities within the website. LOL JK no but yeah really. i actually posted a random music thread in the junkyard and a couple people, i dont remember if they posted here, but they were talkin about like them playing instruments, guitar, drums, what songs theyre learning or trying to learn it was chill.

but think about it, how much spam really happens here?
well maybe i just havent noticed, but i havent really seen much spam at all on any official threads as in not including the junkyard.
annnd like half of the users are like barely active, theres probably like 50 people that are actually in a way active like people you would see everywhere and kinda notice them for instance me, i notice friken collin everywhere xD, and Taz, and Boobearsh lol just those people, oh cant forgot TEMPTii, and iShellz, and a couple other people but i dont remember them... just cuz theyre not cool enough :D

As much as I'd like to see a music section..The site really is more about gaming, hacks, etc.

We have a cooking forum but no music forum. That's pretty damn strange. I'm sure people would like to talk about music a lot more than they would cooking. Is this site run by women?

Plobby has already talked of this. It will happen when the time is right.
Hopefully its less of a music people listen to and more of a discussion of craft and playing, with a thread for listening shit.

Do you mean threads like "What do you think of x?" Isn't that what a discussion is all about? It's not unlike sharing and critiquing recipes in the cooking forum.

No one wants a thread over run with shitty music threads about your favorite bands or your band.
I mean no one whats twenty thread about band x, y and z. No one cares that Linkin Park makes you jizz in your pants and the rest of us want to hurt small children. Nor do I want a forum filled with youtube links and myspace links to people's shitty bands and original songs in an attempt to get fans.
Music forum needs to be a serious discussion of music. Critics of works by people, discussions of techniques, equipment, sounds, ideas, ect. With a single thread for advertising your shitty band and all the " I love Avenge Sevenfold" shit threads can go in the junkyard where they belong. If you don't cut the shit from the music section then people just post crap to up their post count. No playlists, no who is better, no have you hear this band, no my band, no I love this band, ect.

Sounds like something from the ideal world, one we don't live in. Sadly, if we implemented it with such rules, only two people would actively post in there.

Id post, i know sonic_benny would as well, maby split it up into sub section, make atleast one for anyone in LGs bands, maby one will become famous and they can talk about always being on LogicalGamers
