"WE NOTICED"
President Obama:
Today I read of your administrations' plan
to re-define September11 as a National
Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.........
During your campaign, Americans watched as
you made mockery of our tradition of standing
and crossing your heart when the Pledge of
Allegiance was spoken. You, out of four people
on the stage, were the only one not honoring
our tradition.
YES, "We noticed."
During one of your many speeches, Americans
heard you say that you intended to visit all 57
states.. We all know that Islam, not America
has 57 states.
YES, "We noticed."
When President Bush leaned over at Ground
Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial,
while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto
the pile without leaning over.
YES, "We noticed."
Every time you apologized to other countries for
America's position on an issue we have
wondered why you don't share our pride in this
great country. When you have heard foreign
leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you
have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the
British Crown beyond belief.
YES, "We noticed."
When your pastor of 20 years, "God-damned
America " and said that 9/11 was " America's
chickens coming home to roost" and you
denied having heard recriminations of that nature,
we wondered how that could be. You later
disassociated yourself from that church and
Pastor Wright because it was politically
expedient to do so.
YES, "We noticed."
When you announced that you would
transform America , we wondered why. With
all her faults, America is the greatest country
on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if
not for America and the people who built her,
you wouldn't be sitting in the White House
now." Prior to your election to the highest office
in this Country, you were a senator from Illinois
and from what we can glean from the records
available, not a very remarkable one.
YES, "We noticed."
All through your campaign and even now, you
have surrounded yourself with individuals who
are basically unqualified for the positions for
which you appointed them. Worse than that,
the majority of them are people who, like you,
bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection
for this country and her traditions.
YES, "We noticed."
You are 9 months into your term and every morning
millions of Americans wake up to a new horror
heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working
Americans with a health care/insurance reform
package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt
this nation.
YES, "We noticed."
We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives
know that we are not in favor of these crippling
expenditures and we are labeled "un-American",
"racist", "mob". We wonder how we are supposed
to let you know how frustrated we are. You have
attempted to make our protests seem isolated and
insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans
had the right to speak out.
YES, "We noticed."
On September11, 2001 there were no Republicans
or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved
together and helped each other in whatever way we
could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because
we are Americans.
And YES, "We noticed."
There were many of us who prayed that as a black
president you could help unite this nation. In six
months you have done more to destroy this nation
than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.
YES, "We noticed."
September 11 is a day of remembrance for all
Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National
Service Day". While we know that you don't share
our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will
report your proposal as what it is...a disgrace.
YES, "We noticed."
You have made a mockery of our Constitution and
the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and
slighted us in foreign visits and policy.
YES, "We noticed.."
We have noticed all these things. We will deal with
you. When Americans come together again, it will
be to remove you from office.
Take notice.
Love one another with a pure heart fervently...1 Peter

I read only the first four before I lol'd at the writer for being an idiot. Makes me feel proud that I voted for someone much more intelligent than the writer of that poem.
Islam has states? There aren't even 57 countries that have a Muslim majority, let alone officially endorse it.
Because your mannerisms, not your political opinions and actions, have everything to do with how decent of a human being you are. Placing your hand on your heart or bending over are what matters, not whether or not you spend 10 times what it would cost to cover every American's health expenses in order to continue a war that the majority of Americans don't support. Oh, God, Obama should be ashamed.
Talk about biased shit. Bush fucked up so much in his mannerisms that it got its own word: Bushisms. Who the fuck cares what he says? It's what he does, and even going back over and skimming it, I see not one response to any of his actions - merely propagandizing statements as to what his future actions will entail.

I'm gonna pick this apart piece by piece....
Today I read of your administrations' plan
to re-define September11 as a National
Service Day.
Good! It's time americans got over themselves anyway! There were worse things to happen in the world, things that NO ONE bothers to remember and hold holidays for... like... oh say the HOLOCAUST. Anyone remember the day the holocaust happened? I don't think you can without looking it up...
During your campaign, Americans watched as
you made mockery of our tradition of standing
and crossing your heart when the Pledge of

So you DON'T want obama to fix the economy, to give jobs to thousands of homeless and do his part to stopping the effects of global climate change? You don't want him FIXING THINGS? Is that your argument for that? You don't want him solving problems, so that makes him a bad person?
All through your campaign and even now, you

Didn't read all your post either Minora, but I'm glad someone else finally didn't take the original post for its word. It was pretty disappointed to see so many people agree with it over such silly points it makes. >_>
I'm not even gonna bother saying much... but if they're comparing obama to bush (as in the next part) this is the least stupid thing I've ever heard a president say.

1. Holocaust didn't happen to America, it happened to Germany, Poland, and that one place that remained neutral but germany invaded anyway. Why should America make a seperate holiday for it?
2. Barack said he's a Christian. Also, if you're going to be President of the United States it's a little shocking you don't respect the country enough to hold your hand over your heart.
3. Not sure what you're saying...
4. Yes, it shows more respect leaning over and gently placing the flower rather than just tossing it and moving on.
5. How did Bush make us look like Douches? Planes destroyed the world trade center, and we didn't go through horrific economic times as the Terrorists planned. Because of him and Guantanamo bay, we have stopped many terrorist plots against the US by interrogating terrorists. He's saved this country, and he has helped the countries in the middle east.
6. Obama attended the church of that guy for years. Constantly listening to his pastor's beliefs and his pastor's messages. I'm pretty sure if he did that then we should suspect that Barack has some of the same views.
7. One of the few things I like Barack about are his goals for climate change. But I do not agree with him bailing out companies because they didn't do their books right. When you fall, you pick yourself back up.
8. It is wrong to classify people wh olike Obama to hate the country. But most of the people Barack has hired are unqualified, as he said.
9. It's a horror because it will bankrupt the nation. The health care bill also controls what doctors we can see, what surgeries we can get, etc. It will also effect doctors' income drastically.
10. Many many republicans are being called racist for disagreeing with Obama, even a political leader said so. Forgot his name, but I saw him do an interview on ABC. Republicans have also been called mobs by democrats for speaking out, and been called un-american.
11. 9/11 wasn't that bad? The fuck? Over 13,000 body parts were collected. It was an attack on America.
12. Again, not that bad of a disaster?! THIRTEEN THOUSAND BODY PARTS. The date, September 11, will forever evoke recollections of unimaginable tragedy, of lives callously lost and brutally cut short and of unspeakable horror and sorrow in the hearts and minds of all of us. We must never forget the depths of inhumanity to which terrorist fanatics are willing to sink in the name of their depraved cause as they seek to destroy the very principles of freedom and democracy on which this great nation was founded. That is why each and every September 11, we as Americans pay tribute to those who lost their lives that fateful day. We gather in unity and dignity to honor the freedoms that we have fought for in the past, the freedoms our loved ones have died for, and those freedoms that we continue to fight for today.
13. Not sure what he said or what you said
14. The Christian Bible says nothing of homosexuality being a sin. Their Bible is full of commands saying to love one another, honor your parents, don't lie, don't cheat, don't hurt. There's nothing wrong with it.

If Ash's parents are conservative, I believe they are right. Obama is a retard, and I'm not going to be like you liberal idiots and sit here typing a full counter-argument to this whole thing. I think Obama's whole plan is terrible. Tax the rich and give to the poor. Sounds like socialism to me. The rich are the ones that employ the poor, when the rich get their money taken away they have to cut down on their workers wages, making everyone make less and screwing up the economy. It's called trickle down economics, Google it or something. If Obama would take the time to learn what he was doing, he would realize that you need upper and lower classes to form a functioning economy, not just give to poor and tax the rich. And as for the war, I think we should just blow the shit out of the whole middle east. Call of Duty 25 kill streak, just end the game. (Just so no one freaks, I don't mean this literally. I have nothing against anyone living over there or anything, too many civilians would be killed with a nuke. I just mean get rid of the terrorists and keep troops there. haha)

You're looking in Leviticus. A book of laws written by the Hebrews in the desert hundreds of years ago. Parts that are no longer even literal or have much meaning to present day followers in either the Jewish or Christian faiths.
Also quote me passages of hate in the Bible, not out of context crap but the whole things. I've read the Bible cover to cover and studied for the better part of the last 12 years.
*voted for Mccain.
Something tells me you're "...a bleeding heart liberal"

But, Hell, not to mention the correlation between homophobia and Christianity, and the #1 reference for homophobes being the Bible.
For every bit that says not to accept everyone, there's a bit telling you to hate them (though mostly in O.T.). To say that the Bible doesn't teach this is incorrect. That relies more on the denomination itself.
Also quote me passages of hate in the Bible, not out of context crap but the whole things. I've read the Bible cover to cover and studied for the better part of the last 12 years.
But I digress. This isn't a topic about religion. The whole thing was brought up because someone wanted to stereotype Christians a homophobes. I personally know that not all are and that most rely on their personal morals over Biblical morals, so I wasn't arguing that. Just had to throw in that the Bible actually does say, as you admitted, in Leviticus that homosexuality is bad.

The ones I read, yes (except the claims about what's going to happen in the future because of his actions, as that's unfounded) but again - why does it matter if he did those things? They're completely unrelated to his policy.

Damn it just makes you think if this is gonnna be another bad president. But he has alot of things to do so he is under alot of pressure
