Yes, which book will you always remember? Be it from your childhood days or even a current book that sparked your intrest? Make sure you tell me WHY it's your favorite book. I don't want this thread to become a one word thread.
My book would have to be: The Giver. The whole concept of a Dystopia where everyone is innocent is so interesting to me. It really got me how they would kill people who didn't accept there job and didn't know it was wrong. Gave me goose bumps.

Sci-Fi wise I'd say 'Infected'
Over all I'd have to say 'Dorian Grey' and 'A Separate Piece'
Also 'Fahrenheit 451' had a pretty interesting concept. The government blocking everything and destroying all books so no one could ever be offended
The best part is the irony of the firefighters
They start the fires not stop them

The Outsiders. I Love that story. It's the only book I'd read a hundred times over and not get sick of it.

So far, My Bloody Life As A Latin King is the greatest book I have ever read.
The details of this guys life growing up is to the point and pretty well talked about, and how he went through struggles growing up, an abusive father, a denying mother, etc...
Made by Use.
used to be known as the once fabled "Ethan," Slayer of Theocules, Bringer of Rain!

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

Twilight, the vampire book that doesn't ONCE mention the word FANGS?
Pretty pathetic.
- 13 Nov. 2009 03:10am #37
They don't sell them in the US? That's... strange.
I watched the TV show first, which introduced me to the books. Going through them incredibly slowly, I don't want them to end! At least there's 11 of them :p Up to the 6th right now.

I, for one, thought Twilight was a great experience and thought that Stephenie Meyers new and orginial twist to vampires and werewolves was quite creative. Saying that, I also think a few things could have been changed, I mean, vampires glittering the in sun was a little absurd.
Who's your favorite character? I admire Jasper and his dark side. xDLast edited by HTML; 13 Nov. 2009 at 03:35am.
