I love Obama. That hope and change is going pretty good for me. And did you watch the election? He didn't win because he was black. He won because McCain resigned. :p
- 12 Nov. 2009 04:26am #3
Everyone loves obama
but you gotta ask yourself this
did we vote for him for his ideas and goals or because he was black?
- 12 Nov. 2009 04:26am #4
Yeah, 67% of new voters were black.
Tell me who they voted for?
The black guy. Go figure.
Assassination with take care of him soon enough, just sayin'.

Pssh, so far I don't like him.
1 day after he wins, and the black kids were all like You better respect us! And cut me in line at the snack bar.
But, when we had 43 or however many white presidents you didn't see us say shit.

Yes I did watch the election
I would resign too if I saw the polls by 6 o'clock that I was losing by a land slide.
I won't lie I gave him a chance when he was elected but he's not doing anything to benefit us.
I read over the Health care plan their trying to pass, I don't agree with one word it says.

Sydd- White people always thought they were almighty because they were white o.o
Skyler- If you really have to ask yourself that then who in the hell gave you the right to vote or think about this topic?
Cal- Hmm, let's see. He's taking everything calmly, he got the economy a bit down but he managed to rescue it, he's getting a lot of alliances, and hell, he's a damn good speaker.

Wow. I honestly don't care for who our President is. Sure i can say that influential black people people helped him out i.e. (Oprah, Black Eyed Pea's Will.i.am) but if you really asked me in the long run, I would say Obama or Hillary were the best choices. Obama's a great speaker and has people set on change, and Hillary has the help of former president Clinton, her husband.

But we didn't go crazy and shit everytime there was a white president elected.
Personally, this happened at like the end of 8th grade for me and, it was unfair to make us waste time and watch the inaugration all day in all of my classes. It should be our desicion to watch or not.
Tl;dr- We didn't flip, I didn't like how my school handled the whole thing.Google was here

I would of voted for Obama for his views on the future state of America. He believes that America can change into not only a powerful country but a whole country where we don't approach wars but try to stop them, to help the poor, and to help the people. Personally, the only things I'm seeing wrong with him is because of his opinions on health reform and the economy.
And the KKK is abiding by saying they are the superior just like the Nazis.
And only the stupid people went out and thought they were all badass because they had a black president and they were black. All it signified was that anyone can be anything.

McCain resigned when it was obviously over.
He won because he was black. His whole campaign was based in race. If you disagreed with him politically or called into question his values and birth place you were branded a racist. It was all about white guilt and reading teleprompters. His hope and change is bull if he get his universal health care he will by another step closer to destroying this country.
Obama is a terrible president. He is in this for himself not the country. He insulted the UK and Russia. He acts like being president is being a celebrity, he's always on tv rather than doing something important. His "open door policy" is a complete lie. His administration is more closed than Nixion's. His "redistribution of wealth" is ridiculous. He pulled all the numbers out of his ass. He takes money from those who have worked hard to go through school and get a degree and climbed up the ladder to make the money they do. My boss literally is taxed 50% of every dollar he makes.
Now the general questions and statements I get due to my stance are:
-"Don't you care about the X number of uninsured Americans?"
No, don't care. The only healthcare reform we need is to have hospitals deny treatment to people who can't pay.
-"Universal health care is good"
No, universal health care is bad. When a guy from soviet russia says that universal health care is bad, its bad. It will lower the quality of health care available and will decrease the amount of doctors and the availability will be severely reduced and the old will be "sent out to pasture".
-"The system isn't fair. The taxes make it fair"
No a free market is fair. You work you get money. You work harder you get more money. This redistribution is robbery.
I should like to point out the current state of America is very much like Soviet Russia right before it fell.
I should also like to point out Hitler was an excellent speaker too.
Huckabee was the only valid candidate.

I'm not gonna lie.
You stumped me there.
edit: Cancel out the speaking card in this one. Abraham Lincoln was a great speaker, Churchill was a great speaker, there's a lot of great speakers for good that surpass all the great speakers that fought for the wrong
skyler- He was making peace with the people he was at war with. That's why he got it and he's looking to build a relationship with other countries America doesn't have one with or has a bad one with.Last edited by NotNeccesary; 12 Nov. 2009 at 05:05am.

wow man thats some powerful shit right there
- 12 Nov. 2009 05:46am #25
I can honestly say,
Do we really need this?
Is change really necessary nowadays?
So what if there's a war going on,
Lincoln freed the slaves and he wasn't the whitest of whites.
I am honestly both in favour and against of Obama.
Killers are roaming the streets while we do nothing.
Eliminating them should honestly be our primary concern.
Can we do it?
Honestly, I'm not sure anymore.
America has become a naturally aggressive place.
Nowadays, we are lost in between drug and oil wars.
Get up, stand up, and do something for your country.
Elect who you really think should win for president.
- 12 Nov. 2009 07:59am #26
Umm... okay.
I'm more concerned with health care reform and drug legalization. Sadly enough these two things lie on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Ron Paul would legalize fo' sho', but he'd totally go against the health care reform. And even though Obama promised legalization, and it was hugely demanded, he shrugged it off as unimportant. The cunt.
But whatev. Reform is more important. I can't wait to move to Norway..

Of course there are poor sick kids, but I don't care and sure as hell should have to pay for them to live and grow up to be criminals. Let them die or let the bleed hearts and the liberals give to them.
He needs to send more troops. We need to f'in commit to what we started already. We need to go jack up Afghanistan and Iraq and then go kick Iran's ass to kingdom come. Heck I don't even think we should be wasting our time trying to help any of them set up a government. They've had their chance and shown they can't we need to just go ahead and take over and end this. That's right I'm a terrible imperialist.
- 12 Nov. 2009 11:22pm #32
He's alright. He's trying. I voted for him
- 13 Nov. 2009 12:33am #33
Obama's cool. I bet if it was a white guy as president most of you would be like "he's the best president ever". I just wanna see how Obama is going to change this country from its shitty state. He's doing a good job so far, he saved some of the programs in my school with that bailout money.
- 13 Nov. 2009 12:44am #34
I dont know what to think.
He hasn't kep more than 1 quarter of his promises,
but the promises he did keep kind of make up for that.
I think we should just give him more slack.
Give him another chance, maybe he will
do better soon.
