You know we all dream. cool sick. sweet. Anyone write them down?
Thats not even really the question I wanted to ask ;
can anyone recollect a dream in which you look at the sky? & if yes, what does the sky look like in YOUR dreams. i think one of my favorite part of my dreams is exploring the horizon of the dream, kind of outside whats happening?
Ex: I have a dream im riding on the turnpike , im fighting with my dad,the whole dream centre is in the car, in this heated argument. but i realize i havent seen my dad drive in years, nor have i seen him look, normal. bam. lucidity. I look up outside of the windows, i see palm trees that look like they should be underwater, i look beyond that and i see a clouded sky, but the clouds had a fluid-y texture. what looks like blue veins of electricity pulsed above the sheet of liquid-y cloud where i cant see. there is no sunshine anywhere, the further i look onward the darker the clouds seems.
Your turn.

Sky just looks like the sky to me in my dreams.
Everything looks real, but different than its real-life equivalent (e.g. my house looks like a real house but not like it looks IRL).

really? my sky rarely looks like "the sky" it always take the basic shape i.e. there's clouds and whatnot, but the shapes, textures, colors , intensity, the sky is always the most morphed things about my dreams, i get really weird in lucidity,i get the notion of "if i could just cross the barrier of the sky i would find...something life changing" ( i believe that exploration of the subconcious mind is incredibly possible through dreams and i search for knowledge in pertinence to that)
Im also very big on talking to people in my dreams. i often have people in my dreams tell me that they are an extension of me. other times they'll tell me that they, are not extension of me, and that they're their own.
lately ive become very entertained by divulding the deeper parts of the mind. i dont meditate as much as i need to but ive become an avid daydreamer. i study dreams almost constantly.

See, I've always had this incredibly intense dreams. They always seems to be the most extreme mixtures of emotions, and events. I have plenty of dreams about being hunted and the world ending the sky falling zombie apocalypse serial killer on the loose. ive had dreams where I AM the serial killer.
All of my dreams ten to reflect my deeper thoughts and emotions rather than events in my life themselves. its almost as if my dreams use things in the physical world to help me express the things in my mind that i dont out loud. This topic is way too srs for the JY

That's crazy to me. My dreams are like the Dark World in Zelda. Everything is based on waking life, but nothing is the same. Buildings have different rooms, land has different shapes, landscape is usually the biggest difference -- addition or subtraction of mountains, trees, lakes. It's all still based on reality, but exaggerated. A hill in real life is a mountain my dream; a dead end road extends endlessly into a forest; an empty field becomes a large garden.

does anyone ever have a random flashback to a dream theyve had ages ago? or simply, you know it was a dream but have no idea when you dreamed it?

Yes. If I see something or a person that was in the dream in certain settings it comes back. Also I vividly remember a dream I had when I was little when ever I get scared.
That would be nice. I either end up in a place I know or somewhere entirely new but it will conform to something I've seen before like a picture or a movie with my mind filling in the gaps. I had one where I grew up in Japan, was dating this girl who I studied kendo with. Woke up because we had to walk up some stairs(I bloody hate stairs, they work like a kick from Inception for me). Any way I woke up and new exactly what movie the town I was living in was from.

I dreamed that I was being chased by something big in a dark forest at the night...somehow it always ended me being cornered at the cliff with no way out...so I fell down and screamed..And it was 2 am .....

I dreamt I was Chuck from the TV show Chuck. And then Emit (the guy from Arrested Development, Buy More manager) came back from the dead as a cyborg so I used kungfu to stop him and save everyone.

I dreamed that i was at a carnival and there was horse crap everywhere. and at first it was like gross uck yuck. but i had on rain boots for some reason, and then i checked out the manure to find a goldmine of shrooms and i was with ruben and we were both hella psyched, so i made him pick the mushrooms while i got a fluffy teddy bear from a stall.
