Do they give themselves the title of 'Whore' for wearing short shorts, and other trashy looking styles, or do they have to earn it?
Girls now-a-days are always wearing little to nothing, and most of them look like whore's. Now you tell me, does a girl, a teenage girl get the title of whore just by stepping out of the door, even if they're not a whore, they look like one.

To me a girl who is a whore is the the girl who flirts, makes out and sleeps with everyone.
A bitch, is the girl who sleeps with everyone but you.
To be classified you need to act the part of the clothes.
But don't you feel that, if you dress like a whore, you start becoming a whore?

most of the time girls wear short skirts and etc because guys like it.. don't we? but I think that they shouldn't reveal anything, if we don't want them to. I don't want to see a 300lb woman showing off her cankles honestly. It's different if your gorgeous and your showing all that off, but don't go over the edge honestly.
I went to class the other day a girl had on way too much makeup, fishnet stockings up to her crouch, knee high leather boots, a uberlow cut see through shirt with a tight leather vest, and shorts so short her ass was viable from the bottom. You could see her leaper bra and the thong.
You negotiate your identity in society based on how you dress and act. If you Dress and/or like a whore then in the eyes of society you must be one. It matters not if you actually are, that's what the world will see and treat you as.

that is a geat explaination, but it shouldn't be that way. People use predjudice way too often, just because you dress a certain way, doesn't make you that type of person, and people shouldn't act like that.

Here it's how they act. If they flirt dirty with like every dood then they're gonna be called a slut. If they go out with someone, break up with them, and then in that same week they hook up with someone else, that's a whore. And if they have the prostitute makeup as in her face is covered with color and she's wearing pretty much nothing, that's a whore. :]
they dont get the title of whore in my opinion. but they do look like whores. alot younger girls do now as well. like 10 year old girls going out in mini skirts. personally it turns me away.

everything is perception. if you are percieved to be a certain way, then you are a certain way in the eyes of people. you can be the total polar opposite, but lets face it, if you are looked at one way, then its not easy to change that.
the only way you can actually change the way you are percieved is to not care what people think and do things for yourself to make you better and to change people's minds.
as far as anything goes for me, i really dont give a shit. think what you want, i know you arent even on the same level as me. Its ok, i accept it, and so should you (for those that think they're better than me.)

They aren't labeled as a whore for the way that they dress in my opinion. They just look like a whore. But if you know the actions of the females, and she has a reputation for hooking up with random males and also dresses like a whore...then she is a whore.
I couldn't care if someone walked around naked, if they had a great personality then I'll hang with em. People that feel the need to label other people are just insecure about theirselves.
Does it matter? Thats the real question here.

Looking like a whore is still being a whore. They're exposing their body to get attention from the opposite sex. So their vagina hasn't been pound into a new Great Lake. They're still purposefully degrading themselves to eye candy. Whore may not be a proper term, but it's certainly not respectable.

Down here, you have to be a bit conservative when you dress, but the nightlife scene has a lot of young women who go around in outfits of that kind, so you can\'t say much for the conservative part. But, if a buncha prudes decide to come calling, that can be a bit uncomfortable.
Fundamentalist organizations here, especially, try to get people to conform to so-called \'Indian Culture.\' It\'s a free country, you morons. GET OVER IT.
But IMO the way a girl dresses isn\'t necessarily an index of how they are IRL, but it can come pretty close on most occasions. That, and the fact that the \'if you\'ve got it, flaunt it\' principle rules these days, no truer words have ever been spoken.

This I agree with, and have personally experienced in the opposite way. I'm a 23 year old female, and in terms of body type, I am attractive. However, I don't show any of that off. Nearly all of my clothes are male / unisex. Usually somewhat baggy jeans and t-shirts. I don't wear makeup, do elaborate things with my hair, or wear any other kind of clothing or accessory that isn't practical. Because of the plain and unisex way I dress, there have been people who either questioned my sexuality and/or thought it was strange, weird, or "unacceptable" for me to not dress like "an attractive young woman should dress." Even my own mother thinks that the way I dress is unacceptable.Quote:

If a girl dresses slutty, they obviously are looking to get banged. I know many girls who do not dress promiscuously, but still are attractive. There's a difference between looking good and hunting to get fucked.
