Unfortunately all parties to our political process have no interest in anything other than pandering to their lowest common denominator and making as much money for themselves as they can. Truly it's all rather disgusting. As much is this is a step forward it's probably two steps back and an excuse to do something else that will only worsen the state of our political system.
To be on point, I think gay marriage and abortion are wrong but I also don't think the government has any place telling someone they can't engage in either. Regardless I'm interested to see what happens here. Party leaders are going to lean on the GOP leaders in the area, they can forgive the gay marriage bit but you know they can't give up abortion.
