I don't know how many times I've got pissed off at my girlfriend for texting, even her mom or anyone, while I'm right fucking beside her... I see texting in public(when people are there to care and talking directly to them) as one of the most damn things rude nowadays kids do... Pay the fuck attention...

i was at my friends house like last week and she was watching the tyra show and something like that popped up i was like HOLY SHIT thats crazy and this one about some chick do a bunch of shit while driving doing her hair with a straightner, texting, put nail polish on a bunch of shit i was like HOW THE FUCK AREN"T YOU DEAD YET?

You see... Someone's car is viewed as their home... taking their phone away from them in their home would make you pissed, wouldn't it? Same deal. They don't realize the damage they are(possibly) doing to themselves by driving while texting. Hell, I know people who can't even walk while texting, Hell, still do it.

thats why those accidents happen cause they care more about the texts then paying attention to things

I don't care as long as they're paying attention. Ignoring you to do something else is rude, but my g/f has ADD so she can watch TV, play her PSP, text, talk to me, and eat at the same time, and follow everything that's going on in each of the above tasks. It baffles me, but she doesn't miss anything I say when she does it, so I don't care.

Mine had ADD too. I've never thought of that. But she can sit through an entire TV show series. e.o
