I've recently been using the PTC website Two Dollar Click : Welcome To Two Dollar Click!
After Googling it to find out a little more about it, it seems that most people believe that it is a scam. I haven't though been able to find anyone who has actually been paid by them so far, or has even tried. I first became suspicious when they didn't have a blog, forums, or anything of that such. Also, I check out their list of people who have been paid, and they all seemed fake.
For example:
After googling the name cristog120, one of the people who has "been paid" by twodollarclick $1001.00, I see that his name is linked to a never used twitter, a blogger account advertising PTC sites and online monetizing, and he's posted lots of advertisements for online moneymaking on Nigerian forums.
It all seems fake, as if done by a large botnet or someone looking to advertise.
Nothing about twodollarclick seems legitamant, but I think I'm going to try to cash out after getting $1000 anyway, so I can see for myself. I mean, hey, what does 5 minutes a day for 100 days do to hurt me? Nothing!
I currently have around $100 and have been using it for 10-11 days, and I was referred by Riddle.
Anyway, comments/questions?

TwoDollarClick.com - Scam or not?
- 25 Jun. 2011 09:36pm #2
As I pointed out in the TOS
"""
You can request payment with your account balance has reached $1,000. Payments are made via PayPal or Alertpay only. Payments are sent out on a net 60 basis. All earnings listed and/or represented by twodollarclick.com are estimated value(s), actual value(s) subject to change with or without notice.
"""
Meaning, when it comes time to get a payout, THEY decide how much money you get, They wont just give you a thousand dollars, if they think you only deserve 40$, then they will give just that.
And a neT 60 basis means that you cannot make a withdraw until 60 days after making your amount.

About 90% of all those kinds of sites are a scam, you might get money, but not what you put your time in for.

The chances of it being a scam is highly likely because the person who owns this site also owns "tendollarclick.com" (which is even more suspicious). Since you may only receive the cash 60 days after the amount has been achieved than doesn't that mean that you wouldn't be able to file a dispute on Paypal?

I'm 99.9% certain this is fake. I still keep clicking whenever I have 10 minutes to spare, or I'm reading manga. Can't hurt me.
