Title says nothing, other than you need to learn how to speak English.
But no, the laws are fine in regards to age. Intelligence testes and limited opportunities to take the test rather than the "just take it till you pass" system need to be put in place.

There have been so many car crashes period.
Plus 18 year olds = teenagers. Mind blown, I know.
Old people get into traffic accidents as much as any one else. I have no tickets and have never been in an accident while my mother has more tickets than we can count and been in six accidents.
You're just making random claims.

Teenagers under the age of 20 are more then likely to get into car crashes and drunk drive then old people.

Then why suggest they get their licence at 18 if that's still under 20?
It's 18 here, 16 for permit. It works, but the trial and error thing IS nonsense.I am steady killin' fools.

The legal driving age is only where it is based on maturity. Most people have the potential to drive like everyone else at the age of 11. But they make it 16 in America because they have at least a small grasp of what happens if you break the law.

I think 18 should be the age limit for anyone driving in bigger cities, it's probably fine for 16 year olds to drive in smaller towns and areas though.
Either way, I'm gonna wait probably until I'm a bit older than 18. I'm nervous of other drivers, and I'm nervous of myself driving.
If I were driving now, I'd swerve on a highway for an animal. I need to get past that cause I know how unsafe it is. :s
I hope that some day I live in a place where I can walk from place to place and not have to drive. That would be ideal for me, guh.

Here you have to get a provisional driving license at 17. This means that you can drive whilst you're insured and that you need someone on the passenger seat who has 2+years of experience. Personally I rather learn from my instructor once a week. It's so much easier and I get into it really well. I've had about 10+ lessons now and i'm almost passing!
A provisional costs £50 and each lesson is £24+ (depending on the driving school)
It's really fun imo and I love it
I don't think it matters about how old you are, you just need the brains and the maturity

Compared to some places in Europe, the U.S. has really slacked in driver testing. Heck, I got my license to be able to drive alone, at 16.
Anyone want to know what my driving test was?
All I had to do was drive about three miles and make four right turns. I ran past a stop sign, and the instructor simply told me to watch out when I drive alone..

Good Ole Tennessee. Yeah, I've been driving since a week after my 16th birthday, the only restriction is that i can't drive from like 11:00 at night to 6 A.M. And I can only have 1 passenger that I'm not related to, but I can have an unlimited amount of siblings. Though, most cops here don't care if you have more than 1 person.
