I believe that my schools tech dep. thinks that they are all good because they have macs. They have another thing coming. First of all they opened terminal to all users. I can get into the admins account through cd command in terminal. Just have to hope i dont get caught now xD I can also get through everything on the servers. The websites, everyones account. Etc etc etc.
So i was curious as to how much security everyone else's schools have on there computers. Do they have mac pros like my school which is fail.
EDIT:: Btw, they know im posting this and they are going to see it, they watch peoples history xD So. Yea hello tech dep. Do your job right and learn wtf your doing. You get paid my tax payer money to do something right and your doing it wrong.

They think they're secure. But they left the default admin account on the routers and ethernet switches. So I can block the connection to any computer on the network I want. I also left a port open so I can have fun later. I am currently working on getting the power teacher login info. When I get another wifi pineapple all I have to do is edit the SSID and boot them off the router and get them to connect to mine. From there I can re-route the traffic to a flp of power teacher and power school :>. Also, excuse any typos etc. Typed on my phone.

Lol well to that thomas, i can simply go into terminal and edit eveything on power teacher. All the 'servers' are connected on the network as if it were one large computer. So i have access to everything. Just i have no point in risking it when i already get all A's >.<
And i have an admin account also. I have it because im the robotics team programmer, so from there i can do anything also.
EDIT:: But if i had the money, i would also buy a wifi pineapple. Dont have the $$ though, very expensive.

My job logs everything, but nothing is blocked. Half of the people in my section look up porn every day, and it all gets logged. Which is probably why my shop has the highest NJP rate in the entire base.

Short term: Windows 7 -> Accessories -> Windows PowerShell. 'nuff said.
Long term: If you have a computer that is a Windows PC / Laptop and it's the schools and CMD is blocked yet it has Windows 7 on it, there is a thing called "Windows Power Shell" which is just like CMD.

And if you are lucky enough that you can disable access PowerShell, CMD, or just run CMD from a .bat (command.com) you can...
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /k %windir%\System32\regedt32.exe ADD HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System /v EnableLUA /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Lol @ my school
Only thing that's called security is a program called Deep Freeze, and An anti-virus, that's it.
And most of the computers only have Windows 2000.
