Its not really that big of a deal to be honest. Google is doing some cool shit as far as searching and their efficiency goes, but seriously. I have a feeling its going to get annoying eventually with it always updating. Might be good, but its just not necessary.

Well, there's always the option to turn it off.
Personally, I enjoy it. Why keep typing when my link comes up halfway through typing it?

I'm betting it guess what your typing based on the data google's collected by cataloging all your emails and searches. Means google is now able to know what your thinking and by extension what you will think. Not good.

It does not guess what your typing based on that sort or thing. Its based on your history with google searches period.
The instant update would have been very simple to implement actually, just some ajax and javascript. Making it turn on and off is what would have made it more difficult to take. Im surprised they didnt do this earlier considering how fast there engines really are they could have done this 5 or 6 years ago and amazed everyone back then.
