In your opinion do teachers get paid enough?

I think they get paid enough for they work, I mean my parents would kill for a job that easy. Seriously, vacations left and right a perfect schedule if you have kids, and great health insurance.

Teachers are grossly undervalued, but our education system is in the crapper.
Then you have professors who are often coddled too much and allowed to lose touch with reality and thus are ineffective at teaching.
I'd say in the end things come out even pay and quality-wise.

The pay is really good in my opinion. You work 180 days out of the year, A little less than half the year. Even if you bring your work home, you get paid what someone would get paid for working a whole year. Most teachers I know on a personal level like the pay. You could even work a second job if your bills demanded.
