Where do you think Crop Circles come from?
They are such art and people have their theorys.
I Just wanted to hear your's.
I think it's a "Tractor Beam" From some UFO or something.
It could be the UFO's fuel source.
What do you think?

its not just in crop fields. they've been found in deserts. and i don't know if you've heard of it but there is a massive stone circle in some country, can't remember where exactly but i will find out. anyway its like a giant stone crop circle except it covers hundreds of miles
its even dark in the daytime
its not just good, its Great Depression
when i was lost i even found myself
looking in the guns direction
and so ive tried everything but suicide
but yes, its crossed my mind
but im fine

I say some may be from something else but I think it would take a tremendous amount of work to make one over night thus being super sneaky not to wake anyone.

I beleive that extra terrestrials have something to do with some of them.
But most of the time it could be just some wannabe famous people or something.
I find them really interestingShh, I'm watching My little pony.

Must be a modern spin off on Stonehenge or the Nazca lines if you ask me. Most of them are just made by wannabes looking for a few kicks, but the only explanation for some few would be an extra-terrestrial life form leaving behind, lets say, a calling card.
Call me crazy, but I subscribe to the fact that life exists outside of earth, for the simple fact that in this galaxy alone, there are about 100,000+ planets capable of supporting intelligent life.My contributions:

Oh my gosh...
It's... huge... and perfectly symmetrical.
I always wondered about aliens, but think about it.
In regards to the first picture, if people did that, they wouldn't be able to:
a) make perfect circles or 90 degree angles.
b) make it perfectly symmetrical
c) do something on that scale without waking someone up, getting the attention of a news copter, etc.

most crop circles are accounted for as done by human artists. There are innumerable ones that can't be explained and match no artists style. Aliens. Nuff said.

It works both ways. I'm pretty sure some people do that for kicks, But honestly making crop circles takes an ass load of work. It doesn't seem probable for people to just do that to mess with the public.

People made them.
Because thinking that a civilization would travel light years to earth just to put little pictures in our corn fields doesn't make much sense.

Almost all of them can be explained. There's even a how stuff works article!
HowStuffWorks "How Crop Circles Work"
I'd say for the most part it's people.
They can make some crazy shit.

Personally, I think a fair amount are extraterrestrial. I don't think it's a fuel source though.
I think it's likely for kicks. I can't think of any logical reason, so yeah.
Also, for anyone who doesn't believe in "aliens":
Massive Universe-> One planet with intelligent life.
Makes no sense that of ALL THIS, we would be the only group.

I think aliens just do it to tell us something.
The second one looks like some aligned planets.
Humans yawn when they think of it.

I think crop circles are made by groups that plan out to make something cool in the fields
- 12 Jun. 2010 09:07pm #29
I would say its half and half. There is proof that people do go out and make crop circles, but theres not proof that every crop circle is manmade.

I remember in 8th grade history my teacher told us about how the Ancient Egyptians (I think) made shapes like that in the sand. Of course, I don't know how, but I would say it's possible for humans to do so.
- 29 Jun. 2010 07:36pm #32
I think most of it's just man made. Most people are just attention seekers.

It's hard to tell really. Are people really THAT skilled? It comes down to the point of faith. Do you believe that we're alone, or not?
