but under this definition, it's still excessive force. Children will be children, and if they don't grow out of it, then send them to juvie or hand them a knock or two to make them learn their place. According to something I read in psychiatry classes (and in a simplified format while studying Forensic medicine) displays of aggression like this from an adult towards a child may indicate certain abnormalities in the adult's own thinking patterns. In other words, mostly a low tolerance limit. And that, believe me, is not good.

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

He should've tased the mother instead -.-
Its not fair, the girl was still a child, and as the father said: emotional problems... probably family affair >.>

The officer has legal right to protect himself if he fells the need to.
If this kid was anything like my niece I would've shot her.
Look just because someone is 10 doesn't mean they are not dangerous.
All of you guy's saying "That's not cool, the cop needs to act like a man," Well look he comes to this house this kid is ranting and raving attacking him, he is trying to get her to calm down. She intentionally attacks his genitalia, you're telling me you are just going to let her continue? "Oh yes miss I am fine, just seems she poped my left testicle."

It was her and her mothers fault.
The girl kicked the man in the groin
The mother couldnt handle her daughter
Humans yawn when they think of it.

Is it not the mothers fault entirely?
I mean look at it like this, the child is born with no ability to argue, fight, fuss, etc.
By the age of 10 this girl has learned to act this way from? Well the parents.
Then we loop through the reins of fault etc. etc., always ending with a "Poor child." speech, w.e.

Heh, American Rules.
I don't really like how some of you don't care...
Well, there's lots of other way than tasering the girl..
Police are harsh, as always -.-

I'm pretty sure that there was no reason to taser this girl. She was unarmed, and TEN FUCKING YEARS OLD.
Lemme tell you a story... I had gotten Detention one time in 7th grade. There was an eighth grader there and he started throwing stuff and being really aggressive. I'm sure he was at least 13 years old, maybe 14. They got the SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER in there, and this kid started flailing at him. He never felt the need to pull out the tazer, which I could clealry see, or his night stick or whatever. He was completely able to grab the kid, and subdue him on the ground without causing much pain.
Point is, police officers aren't trained to go out into the field and hurt people doing bad things. They are trained, however, to use the most efficient ways to subdue someone if they become unruly, and if they are able to do it with 30 year old drunken men, there should be no reason this cop was unable to do it with a ten year old girl.

I heard about this on the news.
I was just astounded.
I mean, a ten year old girl?
Whatever she said or did, regardless they're cops, way bigger and stronger.
They probably just wanted a reason to use it...

I think that she somewhat deserved it, for kicking him in the groin and all, but still. She's only 10.

Where were her parents? If I had a child..... My child would never act like that
