Whenever I try to plug in my USB the error "USB not recognized" pops up down the bottom left. I'm desperate. D: Help me LG?
It's a 2Gb "Kuma" usb. Some cheap shitty brand.
Edit: I've tried it on multiple computers and it won't work. I have access to Vista and XP at the moment. I'm currently on the Vista. Also I need the files on it. So I can't format it or anything.

...are your drivers up-to-date?

Ditto, check your drivers. Did the usb thingy come with something to install? It may need propper drivers not on your computer already.
And ditto also, if you just remove the usb without clicking the safely remove usb device down in the toolbar it may be corrupt

1-Turn off the PC with the card in the slot (don't just restart, SHUT IT DOWN).
2-Unplug the power cord
3-Hold the START button for 5 - 6 seconds and release
4-Reinsert the power cord and restart the PC with the card in the slot.
All reader slots reinstalled and all was well - for me. Be sure to let us know if this works for you. I found this solution burried in a HP website.

Yeah it only worked the first few times now it won't work on any commputer.
I can't find the specific driver for the USB. But all my laptop's drivers are up to date.
I didn't come with anything, and I always remove it correctly.
Attempting this now. Fingers crossed.
Edit: It's a flash key or whatever you call them, but I assume your method is still relevant.

This should probably be in the junkyard.
Right click on my computer and choose "manage"
And then go to "Disk management"
And select your flash drive (should be around 2048Mb)
right click and choose "format" This will erase the files on the flash drive
Then format it for "Fat32"Last edited by Elliot; 19 Nov. 2009 at 04:06pm.

Sorry if someone said this but either try it on another PC, or go to My computer and look for the USB file
