He has a right to refuse service to any person he so chooses. Its in the law that he has a choice. Its not discriminatory, and since he took the hipocratic oath, if someone is in dire need, he would have to help, but he has the right to turn away any patient he so wishes.

As Soul mentioned, he's within his rights to do so. Though sadly, they should have closed off this loophole a long time ago. :/
People should try and look beyond boundaries in the field of medicine. We have enough shit going on at present in this profession without someone doing something like this and using the Oath clause as some kind of blank cheque. There's already a large shortfall in the amount of doctors this world needs. Acting like this won't solve the situation any worse. Times like this when I really start to hate how politics works. You can brainwash just about everyone in this day and age, or so it would seem.

For all the stuff that happens around here, LG itself is always remarkably unchanged. Thanks to the folks who still remembered I was once here and welcomed me back despite me being retarded.

This. I agree with it.
Considering how bad health care is needed in this country, and I mean the actual act, not the financial bullshit, its idiotic to turn someone away from care based on their political beliefs and who they support politically, and even then, its not like he can find out who voted for who.
The doc is using the Oath in a way that is counter-productive to the Oath in the first place.Voted Hottest Male Member
