I see that it has come to this, me posting here on this day, but I ask you my fellow LG'ers, do you wish to go to war? Do you wish to die for your forum? Do you wish to scream ontop of the mountains and bring down the hate upon the villages below all in the name of our mighty leaders? What would it take? Would you even do it?
Discuss: What would make you WANT to go to war~
Me? Personally it would have to be a invasion of our own country... or zombies...definitely zombies...

No good reason to kill until its time for you or them to die either. But when it gets there regardless of who you are you change your tune and will kill. One or a hundred or a thousand, you or them I guarantee you 9.999 times out of 10 you choose you and not them. You'll rape, steal, murder, and eat their dead burnt bodies. Kill men, women, and children when you actually feel the pressure. Right now, men and woman are dying for you and living far from home and safety so you don't have to ever feel that pressure. You want to "protest" you go ahead but know you only get to because someone is doing what you're protesting. The scholar with his soft hands either hates or loves war. Either your ideals will have you call it barbaric or you think only of its glorious until you get there and then you too hate it. The second case has a reason to hate: the deed done and things seen; the first has none because they see only their ideals based on reason and logic. While ideals are all well and good, when the other side gets to you shores and kick in your door and shoots you, your ideals of never wage war, never kill, and good will towards all matter very little and are quickly forgotten either in your dying breath or that of the one you've just killed.
No one wants war, but when the ride comes you either stand up and answer the call or you burn in his wake.

Nah,War is most of the time pointless but sometimes it has to happen...America is built on war...I just wish sometimes it would end because innocent people and children are dying because of some secret "weapons" in Iraq...The Iraq war is pointless as far as i see it

I don't believe war to be the answer. I mean yes, I'd looove to do something about what they've done to me (9/11 for example) but I believe there are OTHER ways to handle it besides murder.
I mean does that not make us as bad as them?☜(* x *)☞FOOL ON COOL GENERATION

I am more than willing to go to war. I volunteered to go and fight for my country. People may believe there is no good reason for war. But there is plenty of reasons. What makes me want to go to war is the fact that it means i can do something that is worth my time, and to earn the freedom and peace of our country, to keep everyone safe.
Luckily COFFINCase agrees with me for the most part. Pretty much everything he posted is why I fight, and am more than happy to fight for this great country and all who inhabit it. And i dont care if I die fighting so long as i know my people are safe.Last edited by Souleater; 12 Mar. 2010 at 04:15pm.
